About Us

Having left his job offshore to get back into the hospitality business, Jonny bought a bar, speakers, a blender and plenty of booze – and Designer Events was born. While still working during the week, the gaffer would organise events and run them on the weekends – but the pop up bar was a massive hit and it soon became Jonny’s full time job running Designer Events.

As popularity grew, we needed more bars and more cocktail making hands! Our team began to take shape, and we were able to attend more and more parties all across the UK. All of our staff have just as much fun as guests at events – it truly is an amazing job meeting so many smiling people.

In 2024, we spotted a gap in the market for a quality canned cocktail. Most of the ones on supermarket shelves were low in percentage and tasted synthetic. So, we decided to take our signature cocktails and put them in cans - each over 8% ABV. These aren't just canned cocktails, they're REAL COCKTAILS IN A CAN!!

Early in 2022, we took the massive step of moving into our new unit in Dundee. Aside from being an amazing workplace for us, we are hugely excited to be ABLE TO WELCOME CUSTOMERS IN STORE TO BUY OUR CANNED COCKTAILS AND SEE OUR EVENT SET UPS.
